Financial group plans meetings to reverse anti-trade attitudes

In a twist on the traditional Washington flyin, one trade group is asking officials to fly out to meet their members in a series of town hall meetings. Its a reverse conference of sorts, led by the Financial Services Forum to bring business advocates, policymakers and their constituents together to discuss free trade and the impact of globalization on American jobs. The Forum is holding its second meeting in Chicago May 12; public officials, including Rahm Emanuel (D-Ill.), chairman of the House Democratic Caucus, are scheduled to attend.
